The Trailblazer award recognizes individual ISSHA active members who have made inspiring contributions in the field of harmful algal bloom research and as made substantial contributions to at least one of the following criteria including 1) HAB mentorship, teaching and training, 2) HAB monitoring and management, 3) HAB community, and/or 4) Society at large.
We strongly encourage the nomination of eligible women to ensure their achievements and contributions are appropriately recognized and to promote greater gender balance in the selection process.
